As a fresher, the most effective way to secure a product role is by showcasing your product knowledge through case studies or a portfolio.
It worked well for me, as my case study on Tesla (link in comments) caught the attention of our CEO and ultimately landed me a job as an APM.
I've also included an older case study on Phone Pe (circa 2021) that was never published, although some of the features mentioned may now be available on the platform.
Another option to consider is developing side projects, which can help you stand out to potential employers.
