Tesla: Meditate while your Tesla Charges!

Teslas comes loaded with features that improve drivers' and passengers' overall experience while driving. So, why not an option that could improve the users' wellbeing while just waiting?

@Christine Pointed out that a meditation feature could be very beneficial for the user who has to wait for the car to charge.

I researched around to see if Tesla has a meditation feature. To my surprise, there isn't any meditation feature, and the current version will lock itself if you try to meditate inside the car (Source: https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/meditation-mode.186703/)

So there definitely a missed opportunity for Tesla. Tesla owners spend 15-20 minutes at a Supercharger while their car is charging. A perfect time to practice a guided meditation that could help users improve their mindfulness while waiting.

Market Size:

  • Over 14% of US adults have tried meditation (That's over 46.5 Million Americans)

  • The value of the meditation market is about to double by 2022.

  • The top 10 most popular meditation apps generated $195 million in sales in 2019.

Thoughts:

Everyone hates waiting, especially in the 21st century. A simple nudge for the users' to meditate can help them while becoming happy after the wait at a Supercharger. I don't know the exact demand for this feature, but this will impact people's lives. Any EV manufacturers can also implement this feature.
