'Does this have WIFI?'
This a common question a sales rep asks while holding your debit/credit card.
While most cards support contactless payment, many don't use them. Why?
Although contactless payments take 30-50% less time than UPI or card payments.
Most Indians don't feel secure using this option as it does not feel secure (Old article: https://lnkd.in/gqKufYmS)
Other concerns from customers include misuse and discretionary expenses
To address this, RBI caps the maximum number of daily contactless transactions at 5.
But how can we increase the frequency of contactless payments and improve user trust?
Most bank apps allow you to turn on/off contactless payments for your debit/credit card.

Keeping this in mind, why not add a quick action that lets you turn on/off contactless payments for one-time use?

It will help user switch to contactless payments instead of UPI and reduce the friction slowly.
Would love to hear from you and what do think about this feature.
